In 2021 Ideas Forward co-founders joined the relaunched Hellenic Business Angel Network (HeBAN) as founding members. HeBAN brings together entrepreneurs and operators who want to invest in early-stage ventures with high-risk and high-reward profile, bringing in not just their money but also their experience and professional network.
HeBAN is a non-profit association which:
- enables its members to share investment deal flow and best practices and create investment syndicates
- connects Greek business angels with international angel networks
- raises awareness about the financing of early-stage startups as an investment asset class that can be both profitable and impactful
In June 2022 HeBAN is co-organizing the first Hellenic International Business Angels Summit in Athens. This is in cooperation with the European Business Angels Network (EBAN) and with Enterprise Greece, the investment and trade promotion agency of the Greek State.
20 Greek startups will be invited to pitch at the Summit in June and network with over 100 business angels from all over the world. Ideas Forward is coordinating the startup selection process and the Summit pitching sessions.
